No Admission Yet on Jamb Portal, read this

The 2016 Jamb Admission Status Checking Portal has been activated on the jamb website. But here are a few things to consider:

*There is no cause for panic.

*It is true that the Joint Admissions & Matriculation board (JAMB) have gone ahead to activate the portal for admission checking, but it is also true that admissions are yet to be recorded on the portal. Here is why:

The Jamb technical meeting which began Monday 22nd & as scheduled, will round off on friday 26th of this month & Jamb had stated one of the high points of the meeting was to 'receive the admission list from institutions & in turn ratify them to ensure they had complied with the admission criteria of merit, locality & elds'. They wouldn't have possibly began straightaway with this. They would not have even received the admission list just yet. They are simply proving they are on track & that they mean business.
